The first International Westberg Symposium on the Road brings me to Coventry, UK. As the guest of Reverend Dr. Helen Wordsworth, founder and Director of Parish Nursing Ministries UK.
Dr. Katora Campbell, Director of the Westberg Institute for Faith Community Nursing, Katie Ruth Hinton, our resident artist and assistant, and I flew from Memphis, TN to Atlanta, GA, then to Amsterdam, and then to Birmingham, UK. Helen met us at the airport and skillfully navigated us onto a train, luggage in tow, then into a taxi for a short ride to the Ibis Coventry Hotel. Helen turned our unfamiliarity with train travel into a fun time and helped Katie and I to be brave enough to try it on our own tomorrow.
